Calvary Road Baptist Academy welcomes you to our website! Located in Monrovia, California, the academy was founded in 1978 by Dr. Harold Beigle with the goal of “Training the Leaders of Tomorrow”. We are a private, Christian, college preparatory academy and offer an elementary and secondary education. Our curriculum extends from elementary to college courses with an emphasis on godly character and academic excellence.
Using the Accelerated Christian Education program, we offer an individualized curriculum tailored to meet the need of each student in an intimate classroom setting which allows the students a significant amount of one on one time with the teacher.

About our School
Calvary Road Baptist Academy’s goal is to teach and prepare students for the future. Using the Accelerated Christian Education (ACE) system as our foundation, we teach our students to set and meet their own goals and how to read and study successfully.In today’s school setting, a student can make it through multiple grades without even being able to read a full sentence.
This could possibly be due to classroom overcrowding, the desire to pass as many students through to the next grade as possible, or a host of other factors. Here at Calvary Road Baptist Academy, we will only place your child in the level of schooling that matches their current level of learning, assuring that they start off their time with us on the right foot. In addition, they are only allowed to move on to the next level in their coursework when they truly understand what they are currently studying. This guarantees that they will be successful not only in a college setting, but also in today’s competitive job market.
